According to Starbucks, healthcare workers, paramedics, officers and firefighters can receive a free tall hot or cold brewed coffee. The offer is available through May 4.

Many companies are looking to give back to the dedicated men and women who are helping to fight during this health crisis. From the woman in San Francisco who brought restaurant meals to a local hospital to Krispy Kreme giving away free doughnuts, everyone is doing their part to support those people who are putting themselves on the frontline.

Slice, the pizza app, has created a site where people can send pizzas to people. The idea of Pizza vs. Pandemic is coordinating ways to have independent pizzerias bring pizzas to people working in hospitals, care centers, shelters and other locations nationwide. Anheuser-Busch is donating to the American Red Cross. Additionally, “the company is pledging to redirect funds from sports and entertainment partnerships in order to provide the immediate resources needed to support national and local response for COVID-19.”

Yelp has pledged $25 million to local relief. Additionally, the company has partnered with GoFundMe to add a donation option on businesses’ Yelp page. Now, anyone can donate to their favorite restaurant, gym, pet groomer or other local business by clicking on that button.

These examples are just a few of the many efforts that companies are creating to help healthcare workers, first responders and local businesses.
