Tournament of Champions Season 1 episode 4 preview: Who are the final four?
As Tournament of Champions looks towards the finale, which chefs make the final four and who made a mistake that let the title slip away?
Only one chef will be the Tournament of Champions winner. With one semifinal slot determined, the other elite eight battles take their chances with the randomizer. Can a small mistake seal one chef’s fate?
According to Food Network, this week’s Tournament of Champions episode, “Down to the Top Four” features the following:
"Host Guy Fieri continues the tournament, with the battles growing fiercer. One promising chef learns the hard way that there’s no margin for error. Only four chefs remain, setting the stage for a no-holds-barred finale where only one competitor will emerge victorious."
Looking at the remaining three battles, the competition could be quite heated. After Brooke Williamson took down Michael Voltaggio, she could have the advantage over Jet Tila. While Jet tends to focus on Asian flavors, Brooke has a little more versatility. That ability to adapt can be helpful with the brutal randomizer.
Additionally, a Brooke win would set up an epic battle with Antonia LoFaso. Given these chefs have had the top scores in the competition, that battle would be fun to watch.
Still, no one should count out Jet Tila. He is a force in the kitchen and has been around enough cooking competition shows to know how to win. He has a tremendous amount of creativity. This battle should be the best one of the night.
As for the East bracket, there is a possibility that the top four could be all women chefs. With the two big upsets in the East bracket, the underdogs will need to have another great cook for a second upset.
Still, an all female top four would be a great possibility. Why shouldn’t there be a female Tournament of Champions winner?
