Spring Baking Championship Season 6 could see a big shake up in this week’s episode. Will this team challenge be a harmonious bicycle built for two?

Ready for a new challenge on Spring Baking Championship Season 6? The bakers have taken on kittyclairs and spring skies. While some bakers seem to be pulling ahead, this week’s team challenge could cause a big break. Will these teams have the perfect tandem or will the desserts be out of sync?

According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, “Spring in the Great Outdoors: Team Challenges” features the following:

"It’s team challenge week, and the eight bakers grab a buddy to spring into the outdoors. First, they bake tasty hand-held treats for a hike. Then it’s time for a bike ride as each baker must make a Paris-Brest wheel and work with their teammate to create a complete two-wheeled dessert, decorated for a ride through a vineyard, canyon, city park or country lane."

Like any team challenge, the pairing will determine success. It seems that most bakers are getting along, but some bakers are stronger than others. A strong team could get a big advantage in the main heat.

For the first challenge, a hand-held treat could be quite difficult. A hand pie requires some baking skill. No one wants a soggy pie crust which could create spillage.

In the main heat, the Paris-Brest wheel will be quite challenging. A Paris-Brest is a wheel shaped pastry made from pate a choux and is usually filled with praline cream. Given the disaster of the kittyclairs, these pastries might not be ready to ride.

Additionally, the bakers need to be in tandem for this challenge. If two desserts are coming together as one, the baker better create a plan. No one wants uneven wheels or flavors that do not go together.

Which team will ride away with a victory and which baker will be riding off into the sunset?
