Is Spring Baking Championship ready for some flower power? The five remaining bakers need to prove that they are worthy of this spring crown.

The kitchen is blooming on Spring Baking Championship. After de-cluttering on the previous episode, the five remaining bakers are ready to plant the seeds to success. Will this week’s challenge be sweet or tart? For one baker, it will not be coming up roses.

According to the Food Network, this week’s Spring Baking Championship episode, “Spring Flower Power” features the following:

"It’s all things spring and flower-centric when the five remaining bakers are assigned cherries, cherry blossom decor and a crumble dessert to combine into a fabulous floral fusion. Then the competitors work with an ever-popular trend to create flower-crown cakes."

The pre-heat challenge could be quite difficult. Cherries can be a tricky ingredient. Some people prefer sweet and others prefer a little tart. The balance will be key.

Also, the decorating challenge could separate the bakers. Cherry blossom décor will take a keen eye and a skilled hand. Luckily, it is just a pre-heat challenge.

In the main heat, the flower-crown cakes will come down to the type of flowers. Some flowers are easier for decoration and others are not.

Thinking of decorating, it will be interesting to see how the bakers approach the flower crown décor. Some bakers might go for old school, buttercream flowers. Other bakers might opt for gum paste or fondant. No matter the choice, the decorating needs to be on point.

Going into this episode, it seems that Arin and Tati might be the two bakers to beat. Every week, these two bakers have found a way to impress the judges. Could these two bakers make the finale?

This week’s Spring Baking Championship is all about the flower power. Which baker will wear the crown and who will feel the agony of defeat? Here’s how to watch.
