It is time to celebrate mom on Spring Baking Championship. From a special cocktail to spa day, these bakers need a little creativity to make the day special.

As the Spring Baking Championship nears the finale, it is time to celebrate mom. With Mother’s Day around the corner, could these desserts be perfect for your Mother’s Day celebration? While mom might appreciate the sentiment, these bakers better impress the judges. Only three bakers will make the finale.

According to the Food Network, this Spring Baking Championship episode, “Mom’s Spring Getaway,” features the following:

"It’s Mother’s Day, and Mom takes a spring vacation to celebrate. Inspired by Mom’s favorite cocktail, the four remaining bakers create sweet, spicy margarita madness desserts. Then the competitors make look-alike baked goods based on Mom’s pool float, choosing between flamingo, swan, seahorse or peacock."

Spicy margarita desserts could be quite interesting. With Cinco de Mayo around the corner, these desserts could be a great option for people who may not want an actual cocktail.

Creating the right balance between sweet and spicy might be challenging. While chocolate and spice work well together, other flavors might not be quite as easy. Hopefully, no one gets a super spicy bite that kills their palate.

Looking at the main heat challenge, a look alike dessert could be quite difficult. Although there is no insight about the potential flavors, this challenge seems to be focused on the decoration. Hopefully, there will be not buttercream swans.

Throughout the season, the decorating elements have been a little hit or miss. It will be interesting to see if the bakers push themselves.
