Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart is not your typical summer camp. These talented bakers need to be up to the ultimate baking challenge.

From a classic camp dessert to baking challenges, Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart is taking six bakers on a unique foodie experience. While there might not be camp counselors, these bakers could learn valuable lessons from the queen of the kitchen.

According to the Food Network, Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart premiere, “Welcome to Camp” features the following:

"Six talented amateur bakers arrive for their first day at camp. Camp Director Martha Stewart and host Jesse Palmer present the campers with their first challenge: putting a unique spin on camping’s quintessential dessert — s’mores! Camp counselors Carla Hall and Dan Langan decide which baker earns a once-in-a-lifetime mentoring session with Martha herself in her own kitchen. The winner gets tips and tricks from Martha to help them in the next challenge, where the campers brave cooking in the outdoor kitchen to make layered desserts. Martha and the counselors decide which baker has risen to the challenge and which camper will be sent packing."

The first challenge could showcase the bakers’ creativity. S’mores are a classic dessert, but these bakers better do more than that traditional option. Still, what does unique mean?

From flavor to method, unique can describe many things to many people. Sometimes the description unique is a nice way to say that you tried but didn’t succeed. In this Food Network challenge, everyone needs to present a dish worthy of Martha Stewart.

Probably the most exciting part of each episode will be the mentoring session. Learning tips and tricks from Martha is more valuable than the title. Those little moments could help any baker, even those amateur bakers who are watching from home. Hopefully, these segments will be a big part of the show.

Lastly, the main challenge is both a battle of the elements and a baking challenge. Looking at the various clips, the outdoor element seems to bring havoc. Since baking is as much a science as it is an art, that element could change the outcome. Can these bakers adapt quickly?
