Krispy Kreme celebrates National Doughnut Week, a day isn’t enough
Have a doughnut a day during Krispy Kreme National Doughnut Week.
Five days of free doughnuts? Krispy Kreme celebrates National Doughnut Week this year, because a one-day food holiday celebration is definitely not enough. Is your coffee ready?
Every year, National Doughnut Day is a reason to enjoy a doughnut or two. While the history behind this national food holiday goes back to the Salvation Army, it can be a reminder to find a reason to enjoy a favorite food. Even as this year has been beyond chaotic and the days blend together, life is meant to be enjoyed.
For this year’s doughnut celebration, Krispy Kreme is extending the free doughnut offer to five days. From June 1 through June 5, guests can get one free doughnut, each and every day. No purchase is necessary, too.
In addition to the free doughnut offer being extended to five days, guests can choose their doughnut. While many people love the Original Glazed, guests can choose from Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles to even one of the Original Filled Doughnut. Since there are five days of free doughnuts, you could change your preference each day.
To get everyone into the doughnut celebratory mood, fans are encouraged to share their favorite doughnut flavor on socials. By using #NationalDoughnutWeek and tagging @krispykreme, everyone can show their free doughnut as well as convince everyone why one flavor is the best.
It will be interesting to see if the Original Glazed doughnut will reign supreme as the most popular doughnut or if another iconic choice will earn the most popular spot. Personally, I’m pulling for the strawberry iced with sprinkles. That pretty pink doughnut always makes me smile.
Mark your calendars now for National Doughnut Week. From June 1 through June 5, you can get a free doughnut every day. Don’t worry about the extra calories, you can take an extra Peloton class to work it off.
What is your favorite Krispy Kreme doughnut flavor? Will you be getting some free doughnuts for National Doughnut Week?
