The ultimate celebrity burgers are competing in the Burger Showdown.

Only one burger will win the Burger Showdown and these celebrity burgers compete for your votes. With the help of Uber Eats and Off the Menu, everyone can enjoy some unique, epic burgers and raise money for a worthy cause.

Have you ever wondered what Matthew McConaughey would want on his hamburger? What about Jason Priestley? In honor of National Burger Day, Uber Eats and Off the Menu are hosting the world’s largest celebrity burger showdown with 50 custom burgers. Fans will vote for the winning burger.

To create this special burger event, local restaurants in 10 cities worked with 50 celebrities to create some custom burgers. While these restaurants have some tasty burgers on the menu, these custom burgers reflect the celebrities’ flavor preferences.

The some of the participating celebrities and restaurants include:

"Paris Hilton (Atrium, LA), Matthew McConaughey (Loro, Austin), Shay Mitchell (Flip Sigi, NYC), Jason Sudeikis (Emily, NYC), Dwyane Wade (800 Degrees, Miami), Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone (The Region, Chicago), Sophia Bush (Acadia, Chicago), Ronda Rousey (Umami Burger, LA, Chicago, SF), Joe “The Grocer” Amabile (Longman & Eagle, Chicago), Jaleel White (NFA Burger, Atlanta),Kaley Cuoco (Nic’s on Beverly, LA), Jason Priestly (RUDY, Toronto), Amy Smart (byCHLOE) and many more."

As seen on theburgershowdown.com, each celebrity and burger restaurant will show how these custom burgers were created. At the end of each video, there is an explanation on how to create these burgers for yourself. If you live close to one of the restaurants, you can order one of the special burgers. If you don’t live close by, you can try to recreate one at home.

Looking at some of the burgers, a few could be quite tasty. For example, the Matthew McConaughey burger from Loro in Austin (“And..”) has just the right amount of spice and richness. The jalapeno aioli is an ingredient that could work on a variety of dishes (looking to upgrade that chicken sandwich?).

While some people might vote for the “And… “ just because of the celebrity connection, the flavors really do work. Although, the extra touch of mustard is a little perplexing.

With 50 burgers competing, there is a lot of burger inspiration. From Jason Priestley’s “Hot for Priestley” to Bob Saget’s “Are you going to finish that?,” it could be hard to hard to pick a favorite.

Luckily these celebrity burgers will be available from May 28 through May 31. Maybe people can order several burgers during the promotion and do the ultimate taste test.

More importantly, this special event could be a way to explore some local restaurants and their delicious burger. While the special burgers are great, the regular menu items are delicious. Given the current state of the restaurant industry, it is important to remember to support local restaurants.

While this competition celebrates National Burger Day, the event includes a donation to Frontline Foods. Frontline Foods is a non-profit that works to “support our local restaurants that have been impacted by shelter-in-place measures, while feeding healthcare workers on the frontlines of the pandemic.”
