It is time to run to the pantry. The new Post Dunkin’ cereals are changing the cereal bowl forever. Why just have coffee with your cereal when you can have coffee in your cereal. Yes, you will want to drink this cereal milk and wish that there was more in the bowl.

Sometimes statistics can be staggering. Did you know that 90% of Americans (all ages) consider cereal as their number one breakfast food? And, nearly 65% of American adults say that they drink coffee every day. Why coffee and cereal haven’t become perfect pairs before is baffling.

The new Post Dunkin’ cereals bring those two popular foods to one single bite. The two new cereals bring the flavors of two Dunkin’ beverages, Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte to cereal. If you have ever wondered what these beverages tasted like in cereal form, now you can get a big spoonful.

According to the brands, the Post Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato features crunchy cereal pieces and caramel-swirled marshmallows. The idea is to create a layered bite, just like the ice coffee beverage. The Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte has touch of chocolate and latte-swirled marshmallows.

If you are hoping to get a big caffeine boost from a spoonful, it is best to leave that caffeine to the coffee cup. There is some caffeine in the cereal, approximate a 10th of a cup of coffee.

Looking at these cereals, the cereal milk will be a must try. While cereal milk is always a treat, this sweet coffee infused milk could be extra special. Maybe, it could be your creamer for your coffee.

According to Josh Jans, Brand Manager of Cereal Partnerships at Post Consumer Brands. “Getting the flavor right on our new cereals was a top priority, and we think we’ve nailed the rich, smooth and creamy taste.” Based on the looks and descriptions, this new cereal will likely fly off store shelves.
