Even though Chipotle has legions of fans, Tony Hawk is one of the brand’s super fans. With this new menu integration option, the popular restaurant brand is changing the burrito experience. Will you be placing one of these special orders?
Have you ever wondered what a celebrity’s favorite Chipotle order is? For Tony Hawk, he has a favorite burrito. While that burrito might not make you an epic skater like Hawk, you can eat just like him.
Right now, the Tony Hawk Burrito is available to order via the Chipotle app and on the brand’s website. This special burrito is made with “brown rice, black beans, chicken, tomatillo-red chili salsa and guac.”
While many people will order this burrito because it is tasty, other people will place an order for the special perk. The first 2,000 orders will get special access to Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 1 and 2 Warehouse Demo for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC.
Although many people prefer to order their preferred burrito, this type of ordering incentive can get people to change their order. Whether it is the free access to the game or wanting to feel connected to their favorite skater, it seems likely that more than 2,000 would place an order.
Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer said, “Real athletes need real food, and Chipotle is excited to continue being a part of Tony’s training routine whether it’s competing at the skatepark or in a video game.”
Previously, the restaurant brand had partnered with USA Women’s Soccer players to share their favorite menu items. It does to show that everyone enjoys a good burrito or bowl.
In addition to the special burrito, Chipotle’s Twitch Page will be hosting a 2-hour live stream on August 14. Starting at 11 a.m. PT, Hawk, skateboarder Jagger Eaton and actor Finn Wolfhard will be part of the event.
Plus, the event will host a giveaway of 5,000 free burritos to viewers. Aren’t free burritos a reason to watch?
