Halloween Baking Championship Season 6 is set to be a tasty haunting.

Ready for some spooky sweets? Halloween Baking Championship Season 6 is here, and Food Network fans are ready for the next round of terrifyingly terrific treats?

According to the Food Network, Halloween Baking Championship Season 6 premiere, “Haunted Housewarming” features the following:

"As their nightmare begins in the grand foyer, host Carla Hall encourages the 10 competitors to reveal their deepest fears by baking haunted house cakes. Then, the bakers compete in the dagger game for a reward that could be the difference between life and death in the competition judged by Carla, Stephanie Boswell and Zac Young."

There are some big changes come to Halloween Baking Championship. First, Carla Hall takes over both hosting and judging duties. While Carla is always empathetic to these bakers trials and tribulations, she will have even more insight to those “ugly delicious” dishes that arrive at the judging table.

Also, a new judge joins the panel. While Stephanie Boswell has appeared on other Food Network shows, she will quickly fit in with the witty banter between Carla and Zac Young.

Of course, many fans will be watching to see the impressive judges’ Halloween costumes. Based on a few of Zac’s tweets, the Food Network team has brought their “A game.”

This season, there is a good balance of both home bakers and professional bakers. For Food Network fans watching at home, the home bakers inspired creativity. Sometimes knowing that anyone can have the confidence to bake can get people off the couch.

Lastly, this season could have a few other twists and turns for the bakers. Since the season builds on the haunted house theme each week, the bakers need to adapt to the themes and show that they are listening to the judges’ feedback. Sometimes it isn’t how you start the competition; it is about the journey through the season.
