Halloween Baking Championship Season 6 episode 2: Treats ahead?
In this week’s Halloween Baking Championship, would you open the door to these bakers?
While this year’s trick or treat might look different, Halloween Baking Championship is ready to welcome Food Network fans to its front door. Are you brave enough to take a bite of these haunting treats?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Halloween Baking Championship episode, “Trick or Treat” features the following:
"Host Carla Hall meets the nine remaining competitors on the frightening front porch, haunted by eternally disappointed trick or treaters. The bakers are challenged to create Halloween candy croquembouche with a stunningly sweet illusion to impress Carla and the other judges, Stephanie Boswell and Zac Young."
As seen in last week’s premiere, this season has a different approach. With the bakers going through room after room of the haunted house, it will be interesting to see how the rooms build on a particular theme. Although the bakers need to show growth throughout the season, will they be able to tie all the rooms together?
Given that this week’s theme is porch and trick or treat, the twists should relate in some way. Maybe the most unpopular Halloween candy might be the twist ingredient. Could you actually have to use candy corn in this dessert?
Since last week already used a door, that twist won’t be part of the challenge. Maybe the bakers will have to show steps or an entry. No matter the twist, the bakers better make sure that they include it. If not, it could be their competition exit. That scenario is not a treat.
