Over the years, Reese’s has evolved its classic candy. From debating the chocolate lovers versus peanut butter lovers debate, trying to decide those holiday shapes or just eating an entire Reese’s Easter bunny in one sitting, the Hershey’s candy brand is always looking to give candy fans something new yet not stray too far from its iconic self.

The new Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels fits perfectly into the Reese’s line. While Reese’s embraces the “not sorry” attitude, this new candy seems to epitomize many people’s current feelings. Who isn’t feeling a little “salty” this year?

Ian Norton, Reese’s senior director,  Reese’s brand, said “In true Reese’s fashion, we channeled our feelings into sweet and salty deliciousness with new  Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels.”

The new Reese’s candy, which is hitting store shelves in November, puts pretzel pieces inside the Reese’s Big Cups. Not only does this candy bring the combination of sweet and salty, it adds another later of texture. That touch of crunch makes it even more satisfying. You might stop at just one Big Cup, then again, who really eats just half a package.

The combination of sweet and salty flavors is always delicious. Just like a touch of salt in a dessert can bring out the sweetness, that combination in a candy brings the perfect balance.

Reese’s has a peanut butter dipped pretzel option in its line-up. The classic pretzel is dipped in a Reese’s flavored coating. While this snack is delicious, it is not necessarily the same as eating the candy.

Truthfully, one great idea is to mix the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with Pretzels Miniatures (available in January 2021) with the dipped pretzels. Additionally, you could even use the combination as a topping for brownies. Yes, you’re welcome for that recipe idea.

While the new Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels is big news, it is not the only scoop that Reese’s is sharing. The highly anticipated Reese’s Big Cups with Chips will be coming in March of 2021.

If you’re feeling extra salty about having to wait for this new candy until next year, consider candy mix of your own. Grab two Reese’s Thins and put your favorite chip in between them. It’s not exactly the same, but you will like it, trust me.

The Reese’s Big Cups with Pretzels will be available in two sizes, a 1.3 oz standard and a 2.6 oz king size (two cup) option. Both options will be available starting in November 2020

Additionally, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with Pretzels ​Miniatures will be available in January 2021. Both of these new Reese’s candies will be a permanent part of the Reese’s candy offerings.
