According to statistics, almost 18 million children will face hunger and food insecurity. Sometimes that face of hunger is the child in the back of the class or even the neighbor down the street. Given the current climate, the impact of the crisis is only growing.
“Now more than ever, it is important to empower and give back to our communities, and we are thrilled to partner once again with No Kid Hungry,” said Stacey Pool, chief marketing officer at Noodles & Company. “Since the pandemic began, more families have found themselves struggling with financial challenges and facing food insecurity. As a long-time partner of No Kid Hungry, we are proud to continue our role in helping to end childhood hunger.”
Guests at Noodles & Company can make a $2 donation to No Kid Hungry when they order. That donation will give guests a coupon for free shareable, which is a $5 value. In addition, Noodles Reward members who donate via the app or online will received an extra 350 points to their account.
For five years, the restaurant brand has supported No Kid Hungry. Through its efforts, they have raised over 2 million to fight food insecurity and childhood hunger. With a $1 donation reprepresenting up to 10 meals, the impact is tremendous. Still, given the current climate, the crisis needs people’s support.
