Peace Tea believes that your vote will be your voice
Peace Tea encourages people to do the right thing and let your voice be heard.
As Election Day approaches, Peace Tea wants everyone to find their voice and “Speak Their Peace.” During these unprecedented times, the ability to express a personal belief through a vote is vital. When all voices are raised and heard, people feel empowered to make a difference.
As part of the Coca-Cola family of products, Peace Tea is all about choice. Whether you choose fun, joy kindness or your own path, the important factor is to choose the path that brings you peace. Even though people might not take the same path, everyone should appreciate the road that is taken.
This year, Peace Tea has partnered with Vote.org to encourage everyone to “Speak Their Peace.” The campaign is to encourage everyone to join in the democratic process. Whether it is a vote, left, right or middle, the willingness to have a vote counted strengthens the democratic process.
According to Danielle Fisher, director, Refreshment Tea Brands, Coca-Cola North America, “We hope to empower young Americans to vote. More than half of Peace Tea consumers are Gen Z, and almost 80 percent are under 35 years old. Many of them will be voting for the first time in 2020.”
While many people happily vote for their favorite celebrity, program or other pop culture event, voting in an election can seem different. Even though that vote might not seem as impactful, each and every vote does make in an impact on people’s daily lives.
To encourage everyone to Speak Their Peace, Peace Tea has unlocked a sip and scan icon on its cans. The custom landing page brings users to information from Vote.org. The idea is to engage political discussions in a non-partisan way. This special mobile landing page will be available through November 3.
This year, instead of just raising a glass in a toast to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, raise your voice by speaking your mind. That vote is more than just an expression of an opinion. It is a right that deserves to be exercised.
How will you speak your peace?
