Holiday Baking Championship Season 7 is here and let the holiday baking begin.

From gingerbread to yule logs, Holiday Baking Championship Season 7 is here to delight with sweet holiday treats. While these new bakers are ready to tackle the Food Network challenge, it will not be a stroll down Santa’s lane. Which baker will top the nice list?

According to the Food Network, the Holiday Baking Championship Season 7 premiere episode, “Holiday Style,” features the following:

"Host Jesse Palmer kicks off the competition for 12 bakers with the kind of dessert people are embracing at home — holiday decorated quick bread wreaths. Then, to spice things up, Jesse reveals the rankings of every challenge will appear on the new naughty or nice list. If a baker is naughty, there’s no hiding it! In the main heat, the competitors must make a winter hat cake to charm judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall."

Looking at the pre-heat challenge, bread wreaths might be the new holiday food trend. After so many people master the art of baking bread, it could be the new holiday baking tradition this year. Hopefully, these talented bakers will share some tasty tips.

As seen from the description, it seems that Holiday Baking Championship has a new twist. Similar to the changes that were made to the recent season of Halloween Baking Championship, the addition of the naughty and nice list could impact the competition. While not quite as difficult as the single challenges in the Halloween Baking Championship, it could cause a little tension in the kitchen.

For the other challenge, a winter hat cake could be quite interesting. While the winter flavors need to come through, the decoration will be key. Hopefully, there will be more holly than spring flowers.
