Holiday Wars season 2 episode 3 preview: The Great Turkey Escape
In this Holiday Wars episode, let the Thanksgiving feast begin.
Santa gets a break in this Holiday Wars episode. As everyone gets ready for the Thanksgiving feast, these turkeys are hoping that they are not on the table. Will these turkeys get a pardon or will one team be served on a silver platter?
According to the Food Network, this week’s Holiday Wars episode, “The Great Turkey Escape” features the following:
"Just in time for Thanksgiving, host Raven-Symone challenges five teams of master cake and sugar artists to imagine what happens when all those holiday turkeys decide to make a break for it. Shinmin Li and Erin McGinn judge the daring turkey escapes."
Thinking about this challenge, creating a fun turkey character could be quite challenging. The teams will need to be clear if they want to go realistic or character. There is no middle ground.
As seen in the Holiday Baking Championship episode, a turkey needs to reference a turkey. No one really wants an under-cooked chicken.
One big takeaway from the first couple of episodes is that the teams are listening to the judges’ feedback. From positioning the characters to streamlining the displays, these teams have evolved over the first two challenges.
Going into this week’s Holiday Wars episode, no one should be eliminated either. While two different teams have had to sit out the second round, the fear of being totally eliminated is off the table.
At the same time, there isn’t a clear favorite in this competition. Everyone seems to have had both ups and downs. Based on the first two episodes, a clear front runner has not emerged.
Will the turkey escape the Thanksgiving dinner or will the turkeys fly the coup on Holiday Wars? Here’s how to watch.
