In this Candy Land episode, the four teams are ready to travel that sweet land.

Following the premiere episode, this Candy Land episode will have the teams pushing the confectionery envelope. While the Food Network teams might want to embrace the fantasy, they need to choose wisely. If they cannot execute the vision, the outcome will not be very sweet.

According to the Food Network, this week’s Candy Land episode, “On the Go,” features the following:

"The people of Candy Land have things to do and places to be, but there’s no mode of transportation! Host Kristin Chenoweth challenges the four remaining teams to build an inventive way for the locals to get around. Whether by land, air or sea, the teams must consider the unique terrain of their assigned lands to help their citizens stay on the go and impress judges Nacho Aguirre and Aarti Sequeira, who decide which team is transported home."

After the Candy Land premiere, the teams seem ready to tackle the next game challenge. While everyone was excited to forage for candy and create magical creatures, the expectations from the judges were high. Just because the Food Network show is based on a childhood game doesn’t mean that this competition is child’s play.

Thinking about the idea of transportation, it will be curious how these teams tackle the idea of going places. Some ideas might be more achievable than others. For example, a floating balloon might sound amazing, but it could burst the dreams of winning this competition.

Looking back at last week’s episode, it doesn’t appear that one team could be stronger than another. Overall, the various teams had both highs and lows. Going into this Candy Land episode, the pressure is building. Even though this Food Network competition is mean to be fun, it is far from child’s play.
