The best holiday food bites are found at the Epcot Festival Favorites marketplace.

Have you stopped at the Epcot Festival Favorites marketplace during this year’s Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays? While the Epcot Cookie Stroll is a lovely way to walk the theme park, the tastiest fare is at the Epcot Festival Favorites marketplace. Grab a table, a plate and sit back to enjoy the holiday experience.

While this year’s Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is modified from previous years, the holiday spirit is merry and bright. The Disney Chefs have created some delicious bites around all the holiday market places. From the Le Cellier favorites at Yukon Kitchen to the Shi Wasu Kitchen with the New Year Celebration Soba, all the holiday food is a delicious delight.

New this year, the World Showcase Events Pavillion is hosting three marketplaces, the Festival Favorites, Prost and Holiday Hearth. With these three stops, there is a savory, sweet and beverage waiting for your enjoyment.

As you enjoy the tasty food, Epcot is offering special holiday performances throughout the day. The iconic gingerbread display that is usually located in American Adventure is on display. Also, located in the World Showcase Events Pavilion, the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays merchandise is available for purchase.

While many people will happily grab a holiday themed beer at Prost or one of the amazing Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookies, the Epcot Festival Favorites cannot be missed. The two savory dishes are quite impressive.

First, the Blackened Bass with White Cheddar Grits and Okra brings a taste of Southern inspired food to the holiday table. The crispy skin on the bass provides the texture contrast to the creamy cheddar grits. The tomato and onion stew brings the spice and brightness to the richness of the dish. It is like the perfect flavorful gift of Southern cuisine.

The Duck Confit and Dumplings offers a new flavor twist on some classic duck pairings. The use of the fig reduction makes for a luscious bite. With the addition of roasted Brussel sprouts, the dish hits all the flavor notes. From sweet to savory, many people would long to recreate this dish at home.

Since a great meal needs to end on a sweet note, there are two dessert-like drinks that need to be sipped. The Frozen S’mores, available both in a non-alcoholic and an alcoholic version, this drink is topped with a little gingerbread cookie. It is a new version of cookies and milk.

The Coquito is the tropical eggnog that many people adore. The hint of coconut adds that nuanced flavor. For adults, opt for the Bacardi Gold Dark Rum floater for traditional sip.

The Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays runs now through December 30, 2020. Disney Parks reservations and safety protocols are required.
