Kitchen Crash premiere is the cooking competition you need to watch
Kitchen Crash is the Food Network cooking competition home cooks can appreciate.
Ready for a new Food Network cooking competition? Kitchen Crash, hosted by Jeff Mauro, premieres on the Food Network. While the show has the idea of a neighborhood cook-out, the food competition could inspire home cooks to look at their refrigerator and pantry quite differently.
According to Food Network, this Kitchen Crash episode, “Getting Stuffed in Jersey” features the following:
"Jeff Mauro brings three chefs to Paramus, N.J., to ambush homeowners in search of food from their kitchens. With those ingredients, the competitors are challenged to serve Jeff and judge Christian Petroni festival-style food, something “stuffed” and street-fair dishes. In the end, one winning chef splits a cash prize with their lucky host family!"
Basically, the chefs have to ask homeowners to give up the food in their refrigerator and pantry. But, the chefs need to be careful with their choices. With a limited ingredient list and the potential for a multi-course meal, the creativity with a handful of ingredients is important.
Also, the chefs need to be thoughtful. If they don’t have the ingredient in their box, they have to go without. For example, if they don’t grab salt, they can’t use it in their dish. The challenge might be more difficult than they imagined.
More importantly, the home cook should watch this Food Network show and be inspired to cook. Based on this cooking competition, no home cook should ever say that there is nothing to cook. A variety of ingredients can be transformed into many different, delicious meals.
