At Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts, the Epcot chefs celebrate colorful cuisine.

As Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts celebrates its fifth year, the Epcot chefs have curated a spectacular menu that impresses the most ardent food lover and the slightly adventurous eater. From a classic dish to innovative presentations, the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts menu exemplifies the term culinary arts.

Throughout the many Festival of the Arts marketplaces, the dishes balance the familiar with the creative. From the presentation to the flavors, guests are in some ways encouraged to play with food. Whether it is dipping that grilled cheese sandwich into a can of tomato soup or combining ingredients in the seafood cocktail, each dish celebrates how flavors come together.

This year, the Taste of Epcot Festival of the Arts added a new marketplace, the Vibrante and Vivido studio. Located in between Morocco and France in World Showcase, the dishes are both bold in color and flavor. Inspired by Latin cuisine, each dish deserves a moment to be savored.

Many people are excited about the Chilled Seafood Cocktail dish. This offering is a visually stunning plate. In some ways a deconstructed dish, the pieces of octopus, scallops and shrimp can be combined with various sauces.

The one interesting aspect to this plate is the play between with the spicy flavors. For example, there are some sliced peppers. While bold for some, the sauces can temper the heat. It is a lovely journey of flavors. It is definitely a must try for everyone.

As the martketplace’s name suggests, color plays a role in these dishes. The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine has returned to the Taste of Epcot Festival of the Arts. This stop features the color blue with the pupusa.

The Blue Corn Pupusa is stuffed with cheese and topped with shredded pork, guajillo, arbol chili sauce, cabbage slaw and aji amarillo creme. While one bite might be intensely spicy, the next bite is refreshing.

Additionally, the bright colors are instantly clear. While you have to uncover the blue corn on the bottom, you will be happy that you discovered that bite.

The colorful cuisine is celebrated throughout the festival. While the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine features a variety of dishes focusing on a particular color, the flavors in those different dishes are quite exciting. From the rose panna cotta to the Mouskoutchou, an orange cake in Morocco, these dishes are as flavorful as they are colorful.

For anyone who enjoys food or just wants to experience a little more culinary creativity, a visit to the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts is a must. The festival runs now through February 22, 2021. More information on the Epcot chefs offerings and the festival, please visit the Disney Parks website.
