Kicking off on February 1, Red Lobster Lobsterfest is an annual event that has many people making a special visit to the popular restaurant. Whether it is that menu item that always delivers those favorite flavors or a new special that is too exciting to pass over, that limited time offer must be enjoyed.
As Chef Dustin Hilinski, Executive Chef and Director of Culinary at Red Lobster said, “Our guests love Lobsterfest because we give them so many irresistible ways to enjoy lobster – from different types of lobster to different preparations and combinations, there really is something for everyone.”
What’s new at Red Lobster Lobsterfest?
For this year’s event, there are two new dishes on the menu. They are Ultimate Surf and Turf and Kung Pao Noodles with Fried Lobster.
Chef Hilinski recommends the Ultimate Surf and Turf. He said, “This year, we’re excited to introduce a truly ultimate version of the classic surf and turf, featuring a tender filet mignon, succulent Maine lobster tail and sweet sea scallops wrapped in crispy bacon.”
If you have a big appetite, the Ultimate Surf and Turf might be the top choice. It offers a variety of flavors in one meal.
The Kung Pao Noodles with Fried Lobster is an interesting addition for Red Lobster Lobsterfest. The combination of a sweet and spicy sauce with the delicate lobster is exciting. With the vegetables bringing a variety of textures, this menu item is a must try.
Other fan favorite menu items are back as well. Options like Lobster Lover’s Dream, Bar Harbor Lobster Bake and Lobster Linguini are back with other options as well.
And for Cheddar Bay Biscuit fans, all Lobsterfest entrees are served with unlimited biscuits. While you might want to eat your weight in biscuits, don’t miss out on all the lobster deliciousness.
Lastly, if you choose to order the Lobster Lover’s Dream, Red Lobster will make a contribution towards lobster sustainability efforts. According to Red Lobster, these efforts include “scientific research around the impact of a warming ocean on the Maine lobster population, as well as rock lobster Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) in Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize and Brazil.”
