Tournament of Champions Season 2 episode 2: East Wild Card Round
After Nyesha Arrington earned her Tournament of Champions main bracket berth, the East Wild Card chefs are ready to battle. Only one chef will rack up the necessary victories to become the number eight seed. Which chef can beat the randomizer?
According to Food Network, Tournament of Champions Season 2 episode 2, “East Wild Card Play-in” features the following:
"Guy Fieri welcomes four of the best chefs from the East to vie for the 8th seed in the East bracket of the main tournament. The four chefs have to battle each other, face the dreaded Randomizer and survive the blind judging. The last chef standing makes it into the main bracket kick-off."
During the first episode, the four East wild card chefs were introduced. As seen in this clip, the chef battles could be more fierce than the Wild West.
While Elizabeth Falkner has competed before, she might not have an advantage. Although she played it safe in Tournament of Champions Season 1, the reality is that Season 2 is must harder. Also, as seen last week, old school chefs might not be on trend.
Given that Tiffani Faison is competing, she could be a tough chef to beat. She can be very competitive and has done well on Top Chef. Could she join Neysha in the main bracket?
Truthfully, the chef who makes it into the main bracket will be the person who plays the game best. While the flavors and execution have to be on point, the reality is that Tournament of Champions is a game. Using all parts of the randomizer in the best possible way will earn a chef kudos with the judges.
Which chef will earn the remaining open bracket spot on Tournament of Champions? Here’s how to watch.
