Freshly’s New Chef’s Special to Offer Multicultural Dishes
Freshly, one of America’s most popular meal delivery services, is whipping up new menu offerings in collaboration with renowned chefs, Jet Tila, Kwame Onwuachi, Sean Brock, and Kristen Kish. The new line dubbed, “Chef’s Special,” is a limited edition offering designed to bring bold and adventurous cuisine to families nationwide while many are still dining at home.
Meals to Expect from the Chef’s Special
To keep your dinners exciting, each chef’s meal will run for a 10-week period as part of Freshly’s rotating weekly menu of 35+ meals. No surprise there, but had to give the fair warning since these meals are mouthwatering.
Each menu dips a little more into various cultures bringing modern, elevated and approachable takes to Asian-American and Jamaican dishes.
According to the Freshly press release, the menu will feature:
- Chef Jet Tila’s Kung Pao Steak with Basmati Rice & Toasted Cashews (April-June 2021): Slices of succulent steak over rice and a bright veggie stir-fry, topped with cashews and Chef Jet and Freshly’s signature Kung Pao Sauce.
- Chef Kwame Onwuachi’s Escovitch Steak with Jerk Broccoli, Peppers & Coconut Rice (June-August 2021): Sliced steak and the traditional escovitch accompaniments, plus sides of house-roasted mini sweet peppers, jerk broccoli, and caramelized onion coconut rice.
