It’s official, the Twizzlers Twists Mystery Flavor is here. While there has been some speculation about the arrival of this Hershey’s candy, the new flavor is here for everyone to enjoy. But, can you solve that flavor mystery?

Twizzlers have long been the candy that makes people smile. While some people say that you can’t be serious when enjoying some Twizzlers, the reality is that the popular candy is fun to eat. Whether you bend it before you eat it, eat small bites or eat half a rope at a time, the candy has a playful mood.

Available this spring, the Twizzlers Twists Mystery Flavor is the newest candy to join the conversation. Although the brand will reveal the actual flavor later this summer, the mystery allows candy fans the opportunity to open a bag and solve the tasty question.

Deciphering a mystery flavor is not as easy as it seems. While the color can give a clue, it isn’t the only factor. Aroma can influence taste, too. But, how do you really decide what that mystery flavor could be?

Haven been sent a package of the Twizzlers Twists Mystery Flavor, the clues were few and far between. Granted, the deep purple color assumed a berry flavor. Since the color is not the same as the grape flavors in other Twizzlers products, it doesn’t appear to be grape.

The rich purple, berry hue lends itself to a blackberry, dark raspberry connection. While there is a blue raspberry and grape flavor in the Twizzlers Rainbow Twists, the color is more muted. Therefore, this mystery flavor is a different flavor.

While blackberry or black raspberry is an option, so is black cherry or a mixed berry. Although the aroma does not necessarily narrow the possibilities, the idea of a black cherry could make sense. Previously, there was a cherry cola flavor.

Or, could Twizzlers be confusing everyone and this flavor is chocolate cherry. Since the candy doesn’t have that chocolate like sweetness, that option seems to be off the table. Although a chocolate cherry Twizzlers candy might be a great option.

In the end, everyone will want to open a bag of the Twizzlers Twists Mystery Flavor and wager their best guess. Luckily, Twizzlers will reveal the answer this summer. Until then, that sweet mystery lingers.
