After earning their black jackets, Hell’s Kitchen Season 19 episode 13 could prove to be unlucky for one chef. Are the ingredients hidden under the dome a trick or a treat for the chefs? Sometimes, the biggest contender can be taken down by the underdog.

According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Season 19 episode 13, “It’s Time” features the following:

"The finale five chefs compete in the “5 Dome Ingredient Challenge,” during which one protein and four supplements are revealed as they cook, and the team must decide amongst themselves who gets which ingredient as the challenge progresses. Later, it’s time for the first Black Jacket dinner service when all the chefs must cook together in the kitchen for the first time in the all-new “It’s Time!” episode of Hell’s Kitchen airing April 1 (8:00 -9:00 PM/PT) on FOX."

For the first challenge, the chefs have a difficult task ahead. Being thrown a new ingredient in the middle of a cook doesn’t allow for a cohesive plan. Chefs like to think about building flavors in a dish. Sometimes ingredients go together and other times they clash. The chef who can balance creativity and quick thinking will earn the win.

With the first black jacket dinner service, the tensions will be high. No chef wants to be the first one eliminated after earning the coveted black jacket.

Although the five remaining chefs are all talented cooks, there is a difference between a cook and a chef. In addition to being a leader, the chefs have to inspire others to follow.

This first service as a united team can have the tensions rising. From learning each other’s personalities to finding that rhythm, it will be interesting to see which chefs step up to the occasion and which chefs succumb to the pressure.
