Best Baker in America returns with Carla Hall as host

Carla Hall brings her vivacious personality to Best Baker in America Season 4. The popular Food Network baking competition returns on May 3. Joining Hall will be judges Gesine Prado and Jason Smith. While 10 talented bakers are ready to take on this Food Network challenge, only one will earn the coveted baking title.

Baking shows are always very popular on Food Network. From the seasonal baking championships to the new shows like Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time, the iconic food TV brand always has must watch programming.

With Best Baker in America Season 4, viewers will be captivated by these masterful desserts. With Hall as a guiding force in the kitchen, viewers will not want to miss any of the sweet action.

According to Courtney White, President, Food Network, “Carla Hall’s enthusiasm, charisma and engaging wit, combined with her passion and culinary expertise makes her the perfect host as these talented bakers must impress with their baking skills and delectable desserts to prove that they have what it takes to be the Best Baker in America.

What can viewer expect from Best Baker in America Season 4?

While the new season has a similar format to previous seasons, the theme of each episode takes on classic American desserts. As the bakers travel across the United States via pastry, viewers can get a taste of Americana. From Florida’s signature key lime pie to a Kentucky May Day piecaken with bourbon that will definitely have Jason Smith saying a signature phrase. This new season is a slice of deliciousness.

Woven into all the tasty desserts are difficult challenges. To earn the title Best Baker in America, each episode is broken into Master Challenge as well as a Bake Off. Each challenge will not only show the mastery of a particular dessert but the bakers’ ability to adapt to the situation. As with any Food Network show, there will be twists and turns along the way.

Best Baker in America Season 4 will debut on Food Network Monday, May 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. There will be eight episodes in the new season.
