Krispy Kreme celebrates the class of 2021 with free Graduate Dozen
Whether graduates walk across the stage or get a diploma in the mail, Krispy Kreme is celebrating their accomplishments with the free Graduate Dozen. Proudly wear your alma mater gear and get some tasty doughnuts to celebrate.
From virtual learning to canceled experiences, the class of 2021 has been through a lot in the past year. Still, many students survived it all and came out the other side. While there have been disappointments along the way, the reality is that graduation deserves a celebratory moment.
Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “It’s been a tough year for this year’s graduates, marked by virtual learning, cancelled sports, limited school activities, altered or eliminated proms and non-traditional graduation ceremonies. But the Class of 2021 persevered through it all. We admire them, we’re proud of them and we want to celebrate all of them by giving them a special Graduate Dozen completely free at their local Krispy Kreme.”
On Thursday, May 13 high school and college seniors can receive a free Graduate Dozen from Krispy Kreme. To receive the free doughnuts, the graduates must wear their cap and gown or other “Class of 2021 swag.”
The free doughnut offer is available while supplies last. No additional purchase is necessary.
The Graduate Dozen is a special design to honor the 2021 seniors. The dozen includes “fan-favorite doughnuts.” In addition, the design spells out 2021.
While graduates can get their free doughnuts on May 13, the offer is available for purchase as well. At participating stores across the U.S., it will be sold from May 10 through May 16.
Sometimes the gesture means more than what people realize. In this scenario, those free doughnuts are a little taste of normal. In a world that has been thrown upside down in the past year, it is time to put it back on track. The Class of 2021 is ready to take that first step.
How are you celebrating the Class of 2021? Will you be getting them some free doughnuts?
