Many Aldi shoppers are familiar with Vista Bay and its hard seltzer line. While the hard seltzer trend only continues to grow, beverage brands are looking to expand beyond the traditional flavors. Adding a lemonade forward option has become a popular choice.
Summer and lemonade often got hand in hand. On a warm day, lemonade is refreshing because the tartness can make people drink a little more. As the sun hits hit in the sky, the hand reaches for the glass time and again.

Available now and all summer long, the Aldi-exclusive, Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Lemonade is sold in a 12-can variety pack. The flavors include, “original, mango, strawberry and black cherry.” The variety pack sells for $12.99.
Although this item will be available all summer, like any great Aldi find, it is always best to grab it when you see it on store shelves. No one wants to be left out on the must have item.
While these hard seltzers are great served chilled, the beverages do lend themselves to some creative cocktails. One option that Aldi recommends Green Tea Ginger Lemon Cooler. Luckily, the brand shared the recipe.
Green Tea Ginger-Lemon Cooler using Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Lemonade.
Ingredients:
- 6 slices fresh ginger root
- ½ teaspoon Simply Nature Organic Wildflower Honey
- 6 tablespoons(3 ounces) Benner Tea Company Citrus Green Tea
- ½ cup (3 to 4 ounces) Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Lemonade
- Twist of fresh lemon
- Ice cubes
Method:
- Slice 6 thin sliced of fresh ginger root with a sharp knife
- Place ginger slices in the bottom of a cocktail shaker
- Add honey
- Muddle until the ginger releases its juices and is fragrant
- Add green tea
- Fill cocktail shaker (or glasses) with ice and shake vigorously until chilled, for about 25 to 30 second
- Strain into a tall glass filled with ice
- Top with ½ cup (3 to 4 ounces) of Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Lemonade
- Stir with a straw or spoon
- Garnish with a twist of lemon
This cocktail brings a little spice to the glass because of the ginger, which can be quite refreshing on a hot day. Although it seems counterintuitive, spicy notes can help bring a cooling effect. Combining the sweet, tart and spice makes for the perfect summer beverage.
