And in case you need a ride to get the vaccine, both Lyft and Uber have partnered with President Biden’s Administration to offer free or discounted rides.

Update: Uber wants to support the Biden Administration’s goal “70 percent of the US population to be fully vaccinated by July 4.” To help remove transportation barriers, Uber has committed to providing free rides to app users who are traveling to get vaccinated.

According to Uber, “four free rides (up to $25 off each)” will be available via the app. These free rides will be available through July 4, 2021. More information can be found in the vaccine tab on the Uber app.

This announcement furthers Uber’s commitment to making health, safety and convenience a priority for its users and the company. As seen in its recent initiatives, the brand understands that the road to recovery cannot be taken alone.  (updates provided by Cristine Struble)
