Summer wines that celebrate the red, white and blue with every pour
Ready for warm weather and fun in the sun? These summer wines are set the stage for red, white and blue celebrations. While many people might be grabbing those colorful cocktails, these wines have a more patriotic connection. Ready to grab that wine glass?
With Memorial Day being the unofficial start to summer, Noble Vines launched a limited-edition red, white and blue bottle. The vibrant label is a reminder to take a moment to honor the service men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Since Noble Vines believes that deep roots are the foundation for a superior wine, these two wines are more than the patriotic coloring on the label. Its commitment is to pour something good for yourself any day. From a nuanced chardonnay to a robust red blend, there is story to be told in every bottle.
Noble Vines believes that community and generosity go hand in hand. By partnering with Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization that supports military families, the wine company has donated $35,000 to the organization and invites others to consider supporting this organization.
Summer wines give back with every bottle opened
Continuing the charitable aspect of opening a bottle of wine, Josh Cellars has long supported organizations with its summer wines. This year, the 2019 Josh Cellars Reserve Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon will support the National Volunteer Firefighter Council.
Over the years, Josh Cellars has supported various military organizations, veterans organizations and health care providers. In the past three years, the wine company has donated $780,000 to various program.
Joseph Carr, founder of Josh Cellars, said “Growing up, our home was across the street from the firehouse and my dad Josh was a volunteer firefighter. I learned from a very young age that firefighters are true heroes, and I’m honored to be able to make such a significant donation to these heroes, recognizing not only their service, but also their selflessness.”
With every sale of the 2019 Josh Cellars Reserve Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon, the brand will donate $1 to the “National Volunteer Firefighter Council and other local firefighter charities.”
Since Memorial Day is a day to remember, these summer wines offer a sip of contemplation behind every pour. Sometimes that wine glass can speak volumes.
