Seasonal food and ingredients are always bursting with flavor and the Epcot Farmers Feast marketplace at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival has proven to be a menu that brings guests back time and again to enjoy the various food options. Even if you have visited the annual festival during the beginning of the run, it is time to make a second, third or more visit. Who doesn’t want an excuse to enjoy another plate of delicious Disney food?

Although this year’s Flower and Garden Festival was labeled just a taste, the variety of dishes on the menu are quite varied. Since this food festival is always about the bounty from the garden, the vibrant flavors and colors from the fresh ingredients are a feast for the both the eyes and the taste buds.

While there have been a few new food menu offerings, the Epcot Farmers Feast with its rotating menu has been a festival highlight. As more guests visit frequently over the Flower and Garden Festival run, this changing menu adds excitement for the foodies in the crowd.

Anyone who visited in March will not find the heartier dishes from spring anymore. The current dishes are all about lighter fare. As the temperature rises, the flavors are refreshing, reinvigorating on a warm Florida day.

Why is the Epcot Farmers Feast rotating menu a game changer?

On the current Epcot Farmers Feast menu, the Tomato and Cornbread Panzanella with Burrata Cheese and fresh basil is a delicious offering. While some people might scoff at the idea of eating a salad at a food festival, the reality is that this salad is quite filling.

The combination of slightly bitter greens with the sweetness of fresh tomatoes shines. The little crunch from the cucumbers adds a touch of texture. With the luscious burrata adding richness to the salad, it is a hearty meal.

While a Panzanella doesn’t always use cornbread, that ingredient brings a contrasting sweetness to the dish. Although not crunchy, the different texture enhances all the ingredients, too. Overall, this salad is a huge hit.

Even though this salad might be overshadowed by the decadent dishes at the various marketplaces or even the returning classics, it might be the dish that foodies recreate at home. Anyone can get some Melissa’s Produce and use it as the star of a summer salads. Fresh seasonal produce always has amazing flavor and it doesn’t need many other ingredients to make it shine. A little dressing, some burrata and a bread element makes this dish complete. It could become that new favorite summer dish.

If you haven’t been to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival this year, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the Fresh Epcot feast. The festival is included in theme park admission and runs through July 5. Theme park reservations are required.
