Which food inspired candle would you buy?
The scent of homemade sugar cookies, fresh buttery baked bread, and maple french toast all have mouthwatering aromas that you’ll want to hold onto way after the food is gone. Many food brands over the years have created food scented candles and here’s a few we bet you didn’t even know about!
KFC Gravy Candle
In January 2019, KFC released a limited edition gravy candle that smelled exactly like KFC’s gravy. Sadly, only residents of the U.K. and Ireland were eligible to receive the candle, but who wouldn’t love the smell of gravy even after the holidays?
Dunkin’ Candle
For the 2020 holiday season, Dunkin’ rolled out a limited edition candle line including Peppermint Mocha, Original Blend and Old Fashioned flavors, which are inspired by the classic coffee, holiday, and donut flavors available at the chain. Wouldn’t mind coming home to a doughnut smelled house everyday.
Miller Lite Bar Smells Candle
Just a few months ago (March), Miller Lite dropped a line of candles that smelled like your favorite bars. The candles came in three scents: Dive Bar, Game Day Bar, and Beer Garden.
Dive Bar offered a scent mixed of musk, tobacco, pine, and yeast aromas. Game Day Bar captured the scents of salted peanut, jalapeno, and cracked leather scents, you know, exactly like your local sports bar. Beer Garden was a mix of green moss, warm pretzel, cracked wood, and sunburn aromas.
The candles sold out in 24 hours. Maybe next up from Miller Lite could be a candle that smells like a house party after endless hours of beer pong?
KFC Fried Chicken Candle
How many of you love the smell of fried chicken? In 2016, KFC New Zealand gave away a limited edition fried chicken scented candle with eleven secret herbs and spices.
McDonald Burger Candle
In February 2020, McDonald’s released the Quarter Pounder Candle Pack featuring six uniquely scented candles replicating the ingredients used in a Quarter Pounder burger.
The brown candle represented the beef patty, orange was for cheese, white was for onions, green was for pickles, red was for ketchup and the creamy yellow signified the sesame seed bun.
Moose Tracks Candle
Just this week, the Michigan-based ice cream company extended dessert outside the freezer and is making its way into your living room. The ice cream brand teamed up with another Michigan-based company, Wax Poetic Candle Bar, to create a one of a kind candle scent, perfect for ice cream lovers.
The candle has a 70-hour burn time and is vanilla scented with hints of peanut butter cups and famous Moose Tracks Fudge. It is inspired from the original Moose Tracks flavor, which is vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cups and fudge.
Are there any food branded candles you wish already existed? Maybe a Pizza candle? Or a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Latte candle?
