Craving a short stack of pancakes? On July 13th, IHOP is rolling back the prices on its short stack in honor of its anniversary. While you don’t have to put on your poodle skirt, you will want to grab a friend and enjoy a plate of those iconic pancakes.

On Tuesday, July 13, guests will be able to get 58 cent short stacks at participating restaurant locations. The offer will be available from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. This one day only offer might even get Adam Sandler to make another visit to get this roll back price.

While the brand is celebrating its 63rd anniversary, the 58 cent short stacks is a nod to the year that the brand was founded. Although Al and Jerry Lapin might have never dreamed that their “tropical tastes of coconut syrup” would become a such a culinary institution, those pancakes are legendary. Even though that “international” flavor is always on the table, the restaurant brand might be an American classic.

IHOP is always serving up a taste of comfort.

Recently, IHOP launched “We Could All Use a Pancake” Campaign. Whether it is those syrup smiles on the plate or just a bite full of yumminess, the reality is that everyone needs a reason to feel that happy.

Kieran Donahue, Chief Marketing Officer, IHOP said, “After a year that can only be described as challenging, we are ready to reconnect with our guests, smile and laugh together over delicious food including pancakes, omelettes, burgers and the rest IHOP has to offer.”

Even though the world is filled with uncertainties, misadventures and other predicaments, many people know that those fluffy, tasty pancakes are always waiting under that blue roof. Even if people disagree on the amount of syrup, the need for butter or how to perfectly divide that golden circle, the reality is that food brings people together. By focusing on the positive, life can seem a little less stressful.

On July 13, bring a taste of the classic that started back in 1958 in Southern California. Isn’t an extra smile in your day worth 58 cents?
