Crime Scene Kitchen Finale preview clip, stacking the clues, exclusive
The Crime Scene Kitchen Finale is here and only one baking team will earn the coveted title. After solving the clues for eight episodes, two more challenges remain between sweet victory and agonizing defeat. Which baking team do you think will be the Crime Scene Kitchen winner?
According to FOX, the Crime Scene Kitchen Finale synopsis states the following:
"The top two dessert detective teams head back into the kitchen for their final challenges. See which team is declared the best in the crime scene kitchen and walks away with the $100,000 prize in the all-new “Finale” season finale episode of CRIME SCENE KITCHEN airing Wednesday, July 21 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."
After the tears flowed in previous episode, everyone is wondering if Emma and Leslie can recover from their caramel catastrophe. Based on all those tears and melt down, it might have been salted caramel in their geode cake.
Looking at the four remaining teams, the reality is that anyone could win the Crime Scene Kitchen finale. Still, the team who wins the dessert round could be on the best path to the title.

Spoiler Warning: this clip does give clues to the dessert round in the Crime Scene Kitchen finale.
Throughout the season Thomas and Cathy have solved and won more challenges than the other teams and many people have given them favored status to win. Still, that designation comes with the caveat they do have to execute the dish correctly.
Unlike the previous episode, it doesn’t seem likely that all the dessert round clues will lead the baking teams to the same dessert solution. The finale rounds will not be simple. There will be some hidden elements in order to challenge the baking teams.
In addition, if the correct dessert is a Napoleon, that delicate, layered puff pastry better be on point. From even layers to the flaky texture to a delicate cream, the execution will set the baking teams apart.
The four remaining teams are Thomas and Cathy, Emma and Leslie, Natalie and Luis, and Lorie and Jason. For this type of pastry challenge, it could really come down to the little details. From the flavor of the dessert to even the décor, everything better be as close as possible to perfection to earn a spot in the showpiece round.
Which baking team will be the winner of the Crime Scene Kitchen finale? Make sure to watch the episode on FOX, Wednesday, July 21 at 9 p.m. EST.
