While breakfast might be the most important meal of the day, Reese’s Puffs wants to bring an extra element to the table. Could a little musical interlude hit all the right notes?

For many people, Reese’s Puffs is a sweet way to start the day. While mom might prefer to keep candy off the breakfast table, the reality is that this cereal bowl brings those classic flavors that everyone craves.

Although the breakfast table takes on all different appearances, the older generation might remember how that cereal box was more than just a container for food. The back of the box engaged the mind with games, facts and a variety of other items.

Reese’s Puffs RP-FX Boxes bring music to the breakfast table.

According to Mindy Murray, senior marketing manager at General Mills, “REESE’S PUFFS is known for its music heritage, encouraging our fans to “eat ‘em up” from our classic REESE’S PUFFS Rap to the recent Lil’ Yachty remix. Now we’re giving fans a turn to make their own music. The RP-FX boxes are a fun way to inspire creativity through music, technology and, of course, REESE’S PUFFS cereal.”

Available in three limited edition boxes, the Crunchy Drum Machine, the Creamy Lead Synth and the Chocolatey Bass Synth, the box with the PuffsFX.com app, users can create some creative beats.

So, how do they work? The special RP-FX boxes uses an augmented reality technology to create music tracks. Through the placement of the cereal on the box, the people can make melodious music tracks.

Since there are three different boxes, they all can be combined to create even more music offerings. This special offering might put those aspiring musicians on the right track to create that next great beat.
