While those rocking chairs on the porch are welcoming, the food is the reason why people visit Cracker Barrel. From breakfast for dinner to dumpling like grandma would make, that classic comfort food always satisfies. With the Cracker Barrel Fall menu, guests have a bevy of reasons to make special visit and it starts with bacon.

According to Cracker Barrel Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Tate, “Care is at the heart of all we do to make the guest experience unique at Cracker Barrel, and part of that is continuing to innovate and offer new menu additions.”

That sentiment is part of the reason why the menu is full of favorite that taste like home. Whether it is satisfying a craving or that sign calling from the side of the highway, there is always a warm smile and an open table waiting for guests.

Those classic, comfort food draws people to Cracker Barrel. One of the most iconic Cracker Barrel menu items is its hashbrown casserole. While it is a side, it really could be eaten as a meal. For the seasonal menu, the fan favorite gets a flavor upgrade with bacon.

According to Cracker Barrel, the Bacon n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole features “Cracker Barrel’s signature Hashbrown Casserole, griddled and layered with Colby cheese, scrambled eggs and hickory-smoked bacon, all topped with fried onions, diced tomatoes and green onions and is served with buttermilk biscuits.” While some people might debate about the tomatoes on top, this menu item is a hearty way to start the day. Truthfully, it could be a lunch or dinner since it is such a big bite.

What other food options are on the Cracker Barrel Fall menu?

Since bacon is always a big draw, the Cracker Barrel Fall menu delivers more bacon. For example, there is Bacon Mac N’ Cheese. While the bacon crumbles are a highlight, the addition of the parmesan cheese is interesting.

Although many mac n’ cheese options add multiple cheeses, the parmesan brings a touch of saltiness to the flavor. It is a nice balance to the richness of the dish.

Given that fall is about pumpkin, it makes sense that the Cracker Barrel Fall menu includes a pumpkin offering. The Pumpkin Pie Latte is back again. Available both hot and iced, the beverage has all the classic flavors. It is available through November 29.

The more interesting beverage is the Huckleberry Tea. That berry flavor is quite refreshing and pairs well with a variety of Cracker Barrel Menu items. It would be nice if the restaurant would sell this tea in big to-go jugs.
