In a recent Disney Parks announcement, Space 220 restaurant in Epcot looks to offer celestial dining to guests. While the trip might only take a few minutes, the magical dining experience is one that will make memories for a lifetime.

While space travel seems on the verge of the public’s grasp, the Disney Imagineers are bringing a taste of the heavens to Epcot. After a few delays, Space 220 restaurant is set to open its doors this fall. Although Le Cellier might tempt foodies with its aged steaks, the views from this Disney restaurant might be too much to resist.

As previously reported, the new restaurant set to open near Mission: SPACE, the immersive dining experience takes guests to the Centauri Space Station. While guests peer down on Earth, the views are only part of the dining experience. The food is definitely out of this world.

Considered the “height of dining,” the Disney chefs have created a prix-fix menu. While the exact dishes have yet to be revealed, guests will have two-courses for lunch and three-courses for dinner.

Described as “upscale, contemporary fare,” the food will have to be as spectacular as those celestial views. The idea seems to bring culinary wonders to the plate.

Also, the menu will feature “atmospheric cocktails.” Although that statement could mean anything, these cocktails could be the most creative beverages at a Disney park.

The opening of Space 220 restaurant is part of the EPCOT transformation. Continuing the Disney Park’s “original stories that inspire,” this dining experience could be a glimpse of what the food future holds. While this first look is enticing, that first bite will definitely be an out of this world experience.
