This new Chick-fil-A location comes with a jungle view
For many people, that classic southern style chicken sandwich, waffle fries and lemonade is irresistible. Even though restaurants are closed on Sunday, many people cannot get enough of that infamous chicken. Now, this new Chick-fil-A location comes with a great view and a side of thrills. But, will you pay the cost of admission?
According to FOX 13, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will open a new Chick-fil-A location inside the theme park this fall. It is the first Florida theme park location.
Although no exact opening date has been released, it has been reported that the location will be in the Jungla area. For those unfamiliar with the theme park, that area is near the tigers and orangutans. Chick-fil-A takes over the former Bengal Bistro restaurant.
Although the area has an exotic theme, this restaurant will feature classic Chick-fil-A food. Guests can satisfy that chicken sandwich craving.
And, like all other Chick-fil-A locations, this one will be closed on Sundays. Busch Gardens guests will have to choose from one of the theme parks many other restaurants.
Could this new Chick-fil-A location start a new fast food trend?
While this location is a first for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, it doesn’t mean that this model couldn’t expand. Although many theme park guests prefer the specialty food offerings, it could be a good model to partner with established chains.
For many people food is an integral part of theme park experience. From those over the top desserts to the cocktails to the food festivals, it is more than just grabbing a bite in between each roller coaster drop. It is part of the reason why people kept coming through the turnstiles.
At the same time, families can want both familiar food and cost-effective treats. No one wants a food battle to turn that theme park experience into a big meltdown.
What do you think of this new Chick-fil-A location? Would you prefer to have known restaurant in a theme park or a specialty restaurant?
