On Friday nights, sweet imagination takes center stage on the Disney Channel. The new series, Disney’s Magic Bake-Off, in partnership with Tastemade, combines a little sprinkling of Pixie Dust, a dusting of flour and a heaping helping of imagination in the kitchen. As these younger bakers set their sights on confectionery creativity, the excitement builds to see that final butter, sugar and flour transformation.

This baking competition series for kids is a first for the Disney Channel. As the teams navigate the episode themes, they seek to impress with Disneyland Resort pastry chef Graciela “Gracie” Gomez as well as leave a sweet impression on hosts Issac Ryan Brown and Dara Reneé.

In Disney’s Magic Bake-Off episode two, the theme is Disney Parks. In this exclusive video provided to FoodSided, the young bakers find inspiration from some of the most iconic attractions around the Disney theme parks. From under the sea to soaring through the sky, the creativity is full of magical moments.

As seen in this video, the young bakers are ready to take on the challenge. From Little Mermaid’s under the sea world to the skies of Pandora, the teams definitely push their creativity.

Although the various elements of the challenge must be met, the teams are able to put their own spin on each element. Still, the flavor and the visual need to come together to earn that ultimate win.

While Disney always encourages people to dream big, a few little tips and tricks can turn that imagination into reality. Even though Pixie Dust can make dream come true, a little helping hand can make the whole process even sweeter.

In this video, Disneyland Resort pastry chef Gracie Gomez shares a few helpful hints all bakers. While flavor is always a key ingredient to any successful cake, the visual needs to impress. Everyone wants to have that wow factor, just like the desserts and treats that are found all around Disney Parks.

Anyone who has seen sweet displays at Disney Parks appreciates that it is an all encompassing visual. As Chef Gomez says in the video, no one wants to see the cake board. A little fondant on the board or decoration can make all the difference. Those little details make a cake display stand out in a crowd.
