As the Young Guns get closer to the ultimate goal of becoming head chef at Gordon Ramsay Steak, Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 12 could cause a huge shake-up with the chefs. Which two chefs are left disappointed by not earning that ultimate Black Jacket reward?

According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 12, “All Hell Breaks Loose,” features the following:

"The competition is taken to a new level when the chefs have to prove they are worthy of a legendary Black Jacket. While some chefs quickly make the cut, others struggle to prove they have what it takes in the all-new “All Hell Breaks Loose” episode of HELL’S KITCHEN airing Monday, Aug. 30 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

Given that this episode focuses on multiple challenges, the goal is to earn the Black Jacket and be done. The chefs who have to battle in the final challenge will feel tremendous pressure to execute a memorable dish.

While each challenge will test a certain skill, there is a little touch of luck to these challenges. Whether or not the ingredients are random or the challenge is one that a chef can handle well can impact the outcome.

Given that there will only be five black jackets, it is hard to predict which chefs will come up just short. A couple of episodes ago, many people would probably pick Anthony or Emily as the weak link. But, both of those chefs have stepped up recently.

At the same time. Steve has faltered recently. His confidence was shook, and it impacted his ability to execute service well.

Although nothing is a guarantee, a few chefs should be likely to get a Black Jacket. For example, Trenton and Kiya have done well. They seem like good candidates. Also, Megan has started to make her presence known.

Still, the chef who has to rise to the occasion on the third challenge will be feeling the pressure. And, earning that final spot might earn praise from Gordon Ramsay. Sometimes rising to the top under adversary is a good quality in the kitchen. Remember Kori Sutton, Season 19 winner, didn’t earn her Black Jacket in the first round.
