While two bakers were dismissed from the safety of the kitchen, Halloween Baking Championship Season 7 episode 2 has the eight remaining bakers looking to rise to the occasion. Do these pairs have psychic abilities or are they just baking blind?

According to Food Network, Halloween Baking Championship Season 7 episode 2, “Back from the Dead,” features the following:

"Host John Henson welcomes some unexpected visitors at Camp Devil’s Food Lake to shake up the competition for the remaining eight bakers. Then, it’s all about teamwork making the scream work as pairs tackle creepy cookies from home and a mother of a blind cake bake. They’ll have to bake like their lives depend on it if they want to survive judges Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall and Zac Young."

Since this season’s format divides the challenges into flavor focused and decoration focused, it will be interesting to see how the flavor of the creepy cookies comes through in an innovative way. While everyone loves a great cookie, these creepy cookies need to be a cut above the rest. How can a baker bring big, bold flavors that can impress the judges?

Given that the second challenge requires a teammate, it might be important to earn the advantage in the first challenge. No one wants to be stuck with a baker who cannot see the vision for the two faced cakes. That flip of the coin might be a big mistake.

For the split cake challenge, communication is key in this blind bake. Although a symmetrical cake might be hard, there needs to be a tie that binds. The bakers who can find a way to not only let their vision shine but also highlight their teammate’s ideas will earn the judges’ praises.
