Krispy Kreme celebrates World Gratitude Day with a sweet thank you

The simple phrase, thank you, can have a more profound effect than anyone can appreciate. For World Gratitude Day, Krispy Kreme is adding a sweet note to the positive affirmation conversation.

Even though many people act with kindness regardless of recognition, sometimes a little acknowledgment can make the effort even better.

In honor of World Gratitude Day, Krispy Kreme is giving a thank you to all those who need an extra word of positivity. For this special promotion, guests can have have a special gift wrapped dozen of doughnut delivered to a special someone. In addition to the decorative box sent as a thank you, the sender will receive a free Original Glazed dozen, too.

As Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “World Gratitude Day is 9/21, so treat someone who you’re grateful to have in your life any time this week. And to show our gratitude, when you send the gift of a dozen doughnuts, we’ll gift you the same ‘thanks’ in return.”

To redeem this special offer, the order can be made either via the brand’s website or app. Adding the code “THANKS” at checkout will include the special sleeve without charge. In addition, a special message can be included with the offer.

After ordering, the purchaser will receive a digital voucher for a free Original Glazed dozen. That offer can be redeemed through October 27. The offer must be redeemed in stores.

The special World Gratitude Day comes as the fall flavors special hits it final week. After doughnut fans have enjoyed both pumpkin and apple cider offerings, one more fall flavor glaze is ready to be enjoyed. The Maple Glazed might be the sweetest offering yet.
