Apple Pie Toast Crunch will be the hit of the holiday season
While grandma’s apple pie recipe might be filled with nostalgia, the new Apple Pie Toast Crunch might be the flavor that everyone craves this holiday season. The newest General Mills holiday cereal might have some people leaving their ovens off and serving cereal for dessert. Ready to grab your spoon?
As part of the holiday cereal line, the new Apple Pie Toast Crunch adds that classic dessert flavor to the iconic cereal. A touch sweet, a hint of warm spices and a big spoonful of deliciousness is waiting to start the day.
While this cereal is tasty on its own, it can be mixed with some Dulce de Leche Toast Crunch for a caramel apple pie flavor. Or, you could add some apple chips to change the texture and get an extra boost of fruit in the cereal bowl.
The most interesting idea will be to see how the Apple Pie Toast Crunch could be incorporated into desserts. While the classic Cinnamon Toast Crunch is used everything from doughnuts to cakes, this flavor lends itself to some culinary creativity. Whether used as a simple topping or incorporated into even a pie dough, this cereal might need to become a pantry staple this holiday season.
