Mars Wrigley helps to reimagine the Main Street Confectionery

As Walt Disney World celebrates its 50th anniversary, Mars Wrigley lends its iconic sweetness to the newly reimagined Main Street Confectionery. When guests enter the iconic theme park, the sweet aroma draws entices with the lure of magical, sweet creations. Whether it is the first stop or the last treat while leaving the Magic Kingdom, the Main Street Confectionery is an iconic part of the Disney World experience.

Recently, Walt Disney World revitalized Main Street Confectionery. As many of the Disney Parks experiences get an EARidescent makeover, the classic candy shop embraces its colorful rainbow in part from the collaboration with Mars Wrigley.

Over the years, Mars Wrigley candy has been featured at various events, including the after-hours Halloween events. Those trick or treat bags were overflowing with copious amounts of M&M’S, Snickers, Skittles and more.

In addition, many of those candies have been featured in various treats throughout Walt Disney World. Even recently a sprinkling of mini M&M’S and TWIX pieces are featured on the donuts at Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

When the Main Street Confectionery reopened, guests were treated to a fantastical candy world. While the nostalgic, old world charm is still apparent, the vibrant colored candies are a feast for the eyes. According to Walt Disney World, there are 38 varieties of M&M’S and Skittles on its candy wall.

A new experience for guests is the ability to customize their popcorn. After choosing from four popcorn flavors, guests can mix in various toppings including M&M’S and Skittles.

Lastly, the classic Mickey themed sweet treats are available. While some have that EARidsecent hue thanks to the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration, all of the favorites are back in the case. From crispy cereal treats to candied apples, that bite of nostalgia always brings smiles.

The Main Street Confectionery is located in Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney World requires theme park reservations as well as adherence to health and safety protocols. October 1 marks the start of an 18 month celebration for the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration.
