Domino’s new menu item encourages people to play with their food
While Domino’s might have enticed people with recent free offers, this Domino’s new menu item has people adding a little fun to meal time. Ready to dip and dip some more?
Sometimes the best part of a pizza dinner isn’t just the pizza itself. The side items that are served with that pizza make the whole dinner experience even more enjoyable. Whether it is an appetizer or a dessert, those little extras make that slice even tastier.
What is Domino’s new menu item?
In a recent Domino’s announcement, the company shared that it has added Oven-Baked Dips. Available in three varieties, these Oven-Baked Dips are designed to pair with the Bread Twists.
According to Art D’Elia, Domino’s executive vice president – chief marketing officer. “Oven-Baked Dips are to Bread Twists as pepperoni is to pizza. They complement each other and make the perfect combo. We can’t wait for customers to give them a try!”
Available in three flavors, Cheesy Marinara, Five Cheese and Baked Apple, this new menu option could become a fast favorite. While many restaurants offer cheesy bread, the dip concept allows people to customize the experience. Although no one recommends double dipping, everyone knows that Seinfeld episode, the idea of interactive food is enjoyable. Sometimes a little playfulness adds to the eating enjoyment.
The interesting aspect to the new Oven-Baked Dips is the dessert choice of Baked Apple. Even though the Domino’s Lave Cakes are quite tasty, they can be quite rich. With this dessert option, some people might feel less guilty about having dessert. After all, there is fruit involved.
Also, it is interesting that Domino’s has found a way to transform its Bread Twists into both a savory and sweet menu option. That type of versatility could become a new menu for quick service restaurants.
As part of the Domino’s new menu roll-out, the Domino’s Dips & Twists Combos are being offered at $7.99.
