McDonald’s Thank You Meal is best way to start the day
While two words may not seem like a lot, that sentiment can have a big impact. With the McDonald’s Thank You Meal, breakfast is the most important meal of the day for an even bigger reason. Are you ready to start your day right?
In the past year, many roles have had an even bigger impact on people’s lives. While everyone appreciates essential workers, the role of the educator has become even more vital. As parents and caregivers looked to supplement that virtual classroom, there has been a new appreciation for the talents of the teachers and their efforts.
How can educators get a free McDonald’s Thank You Meal?
Now through October 15, educators can get a free breakfast at participating McDonald’s. To receive this free breakfast, guests will need to show a valid work ID.
According to Joe Erlinger, President, McDonald’s USA, “Together with our Owner/Operators, we’re proud to serve the people who make our communities a better place, and this is an important time to say thank you to some of our everyday heroes. With educators going above and beyond, we’re excited to recognize them in a way only McDonald’s can.”
The free breakfast will be served in a Happy Meal box. The free breakfast includes “entrée breakfast sandwich, Hash Browns and a beverage. Sandwich choices include an Egg McMuffin, a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit or a Sausage Biscuit.”
How can everyone join the McDonald’s Thank You Meal promotion for educators?
While the free breakfast is a great way to start the day, it isn’t the only reason to smile during the week-long appreciation event. McDonald’s is encouraging everyone to share stories about educators who have impacted their lives. From the teacher who built a child’s confidence in a difficult subject to the person who always offered a warm smile every morning, it is time to express how all those choices made a meaning impact.
To share a story about a special educator, please use #ThankYouMeal on Twitter, TikTok or Instagram. Various stories will be shared by McDonald’s. In addition, select educators will get free breakfast delivered to their school.
Although it might not seem like a huge gesture, a simple thank you can make a difference in someone’s day. Doesn’t everyone deserve a little gratitude in their day?
