While Camp Devil’s Food Lake has welcomed more bakers to its dark abyss, the Halloween Baking Championship Season 7 finale might have a few more unlikely twists before the winner is revealed. Have you solved this Food Network baking mystery yet?

According to Food Network, the Halloween Baking Championship Season 7 finale, “The Killer Is..” features the following:

"The four finalists face their fears when host John Henson challenges them to bake using a hated ingredient. The bakers must be brave, though, because the camp serial killer and judges Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall and Zac Young will claim one more victim in a sudden death, leaving the final three to battle it out for $25,000 and the title of Halloween Baking Champion."

Based on this synopsis, many people can speculate about the hated ingredient. Food Network fans know that Alton Brown says that there is one death fruit for any culinary competition.

When it comes to baking, there are all types of hated ingredients. Even though this season’s theme has been slasher films and 80s pop culture, those two elements do not necessarily offer a clue. It could be as simple as pumpkin or as complicated as rosewater. No matter the hated ingredients, the bakers have to deliver a great dessert.

Looking at the four remaining bakers, it isn’t necessarily a forgone conclusion who is solving the clues in the Halloween Baking Championship finale. Guerillmo has been on a roll recently. He has found the right balance between great flavor and impressive visuals.

In some ways, Renee might not be a favorite for Food Network fans. Some people appreciate that she got a second chance and others might prefer another baker soar to the top.

But, Renee has delivered some amazing desserts. She knows how to play the game. The only thing holding her back is the “scary” factor. Sometimes her visuals are a little too sweet.

Adina has had both ups and downs. After landing in the bottom last episode, she needs to be thoughtful with her flavors. The imagery is on point, but there have been a few other missteps.

Lastly, Megan gets the visual and has had some of the most impressive offerings this season. It will depend on the flavor and the dessert whether she can make it to the end.

Who is your guess to win it all on the Halloween Baking Championship finale? Don’t forget to watch on Monday, October 25 at 9 p.m. EST on Food Network.
