Krispy Kreme gives first responders a free doughnut and coffee
Sometimes a sweet gesture is greater than just a free food offer. On October 28, Krispy Kreme is celebrating first responders with a tasty treat. In honor of National First Responders Day, they can receive a free doughnut and coffee.
The free brewed coffee and free Original Glazed Doughnut offer is available to “law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics/EMTs, emergency operators, dispatchers, and search and rescue personnel.” Guests will need to show a “valid ID or badge” at the restaurant in order to receive this free food offer.
As Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer said, “The commitment of our country’s first responders to protecting and saving lives as a profession and a vocation is a blessing for which we’re all indebted, especially in recent times. We’re thankful for them every day and it’s our honor to celebrate them with this gesture.”
Krispy Kreme has another free doughnut offer this month.
Although the first responders offer is just on October 28, there are more reasons to visit Krispy Kreme this week. While everyone has been enjoying the new Halloween doughnuts, the Saturday Scary Sharies are a reason to kick of the weekend at Krispy Skreme.
On October 30, the $1 Saturday Scary Sharies dozen is on the menu. The special offer is available with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts. Sometimes the sweetest treats are the ones that are shared with others.
Lastly, the Halloween fun continues on the big day, too. Krispy Skreme will be offering a free doughnut to anyone in Halloween costume on October 31. No additional purchase is necessary.
While everyone loves a free doughnut offer, try to make the costume clear to the restaurant. No one wants to guess that you’re wearing a costume or that item could go wrong. At the same time, don’t try to spook the restaurant staff too much. Remember, this promotion is meant to be sweet, not overly scary.
