While Glenfiddich is always a lovely sipper, this spooky cocktail brings a little darkness to the glass. From the black color to the ginger syrup, it gives new meaning to taking your medicine.

Although the Glenfiddich is delightful in a Rob Roy or even an Old Fashioned, the reality is that sometimes it pay to think outside of the cocktail shaker. The combination of ginger with the apple cider is warm and comforting. Even though Mary Poppins talked about sugar and medicine, this sipper makes a statement for a little more spice in the glass.

And, don’t forget the lemon juice. Fresh lemon juice adds some brightness to keep the cocktail from being too heavy. Sometimes a glass of medicine is just what you need to keep the spooky away.
